Gratitude

Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Albert Einstein was thankful everyday to other scientists for their work both past and present even though he had made some of the greatest scientific discoveries in history. In spite of his amazing achievements, he talked about being grateful for others. In return for his gratitude the Universe revealed so many of her secrets to him.

"A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the measure as I have received and am still receiving." -Albert Einstein

I actually drew this upside down as part of the exercises in the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. Drawing things upside down can involve more of the right side of the brain which is our artistic, creative, intuitive, and spiritual side.
